My work begins with listening. To people and their rituals, to small living creatures, and to what reveals itself through slowness, growth and decay.
I design in service of the natural world and the life around us, not the ego. I work with what already exists, using natural materials wherever possible and introducing synthetic ones only when necessary, with mindfulness of the consequences.
Leaving space for imperfection is very important to me, as it allows objects to change, to be used, and to belong, rather than striving for fragile ideals of perfection.
Through my practice, I aim to foster connection with nature and humans, to slow us down, and to give something back.
